Residential Efficiency reduces the amount of energy required and money spent to maintain a comfortable home.  The following are key elements to consider when determining the efficiency of your home.

  •  Air Sealing –This is the most cost effective way to make your home more comfortable and energy efficient.
  •  Insulation - Insulation is the number one energy looser in a typical home, and it’s the most common problem we solve. When professionally installed, this home improvement can lower a home’s heating and cooling costs by 20%, and reduce its total energy bill by 10%.
  • Heating and Cooling -After a home’s air leakage and home insulation needs are addressed, energy efficiency may be further improved by installing smaller, more efficient HVAC systems. Changing to a more efficient HVAC system can lower energy costs by about 20 percent.
  • Appliances – Whether it’s a washer, dryer, refrigerator or dishwasher, there’s likely a better, more energy efficient model available. Even a CFL light bulb uses about 75% less energy than a traditional incandescent bulb (and lasts six times longer).
